Expedition Assessor & Supervisor Training Course

The Expedition Assessor and Supervisor Training Course (EASTC) provides delegates with an understanding of the role and responsibilities of expedition assessors and supervisors and to be able to apply the DofE key principles and the 20 Conditions of the expedition section.

The EASTC is normally delivered as a one-day course and has a pre-course e-learning module (IttESR) which must be completed in advance of the course. Access the e-learning from www.DofEtraining.org.

After successfully completing the EASTC, delegates who wish to assess DofE expeditions can continue the route to accreditation by successfully completing the EASTC knowledge check module and must also be endorsed by a Licensed Organisation or Approved Activity Provider within two years. They can then be accredited as an Expedition Assessor who can assess DofE expeditions.

The pre-requisite for the EASTC is completing the e-Induction and new Introduction to the Expedition Section and Roles e-learning modules. This is accessed through DofE Training Zone. The course cost is £45. Max 30 delegates. We need at least 6 delegates to run the course & will email you by 07/06/2021 if the course is cancelled or over-subscribed. Joining instructions and the link to the course will be sent 24 hours before the course, subject to the pre-course learning being completed.
